Since joining the bar in 2012, Trevor has argued on his clients’ behalf in a multitude of jurisdictions across Virginia as well as before the Virginia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Immigration Court and numerous other government and administrative tribunals. Prior to joining HLC, he held positions with litigation firms in both Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads.

While in law school at the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, Trevor clerked both for the Honorable Patricia A. Broderick of the D.C. Superior Court as well as the Maryland State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County. It was there that Trevor began working intensely with victims and families on issues related to domestic violence and child custody. He also spent a year working for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, investigating decades-old criminal cases in D.C. and Baltimore where there was a possibility of wrongful conviction. Thanks, in part, to the work done by Trevor and his team, one of his clients, who had been in prison for over 22 years, was finally exonerated by the D.C. Court of Appeals in 2019.

Trevor was also fortunate enough to have been selected for clerkships/internships with Congressman Christopher H. Smith (NJ-4) of the United States House of Representatives and with the General Counsel’s Office of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Trevor moved with his family to Virginia as a teenager and attended Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Communications/Public Relations from Virginia Tech, where he graduated with honors in 2008.
