A family law attorney with 14 years of experience is someone you want on your side in a divorce or other family law matter. Hope Hutchinson works with people who are going through a difficult period and need legal and professional guidance to get them through it. A graduate of Regent Law School in 2010, Hope’s tenure with law firms inspired her to open her own practice with a family law focus. She continues to work with people who need her help and protect their rights and the rights of their children.

Attorney Hope Hutchinson is the owner of Hutchinson Law Center in York County, Virginia. Hope has been focusing on family law issues, and handles all matter of family law cases, including:

Hope earned a BA in political science from Christopher Newport University in 2004, graduating cum laude as a member of the President’s Leadership Team. She went on to earn her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Regent School of Law in 2010.

After law school, Hope went to work with Kenneth B. Murov family law firm in Newport News, VA, where she worked with distinction for five years before moving on to Clancy & Walter, P.L.L.C.

While at Clancy & Walter, Hope guided families through the divorce process and helped people deal with the effects of domestic abuse. She also acted as Guardian Ad Litem to protect the interest of individual children in similar situations. Hope decided to create her own family law center to continue family law work in the community. The Hutchinson Law Center opened on July 29, 2019, with the mission to continue helping people and their children through difficulties of divorce and the aftermath.

Hope is a mother herself, to her two beautiful daughters. As a believer in family values, Hope supports her family. She also supports the families of those in need in her community by being both empathetic and a strong advocate. As someone who has lived here all her life, she knows the area, and more importantly, the people.

Hope has practiced in courts on the Peninsula and the South Side, including York County, Hampton, Newport News, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, Suffolk, Williamsburg, James City County, Middlesex, Matthews, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Greater Peninsula Women’s Bar Association. Hope writes and presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for other practicing attorneys.
